COMMODITY TRADING
STEEL
Our Steel trading activities can be broken down into two broad categories, namely:
1 ) Sourcing of carbon mild steel products directly from partner Mills/ manufacturers in South Africa and supplying clients in cross boarder SADC countries ( i.e. Mozambique/ Zimbabwe/ Zambia/ Malawi/ Namibia/ Botswana and Angola ) via truck/ rail options.
2 ) Sourcing of carbon mild steel products from International partner mills in Asia/ Europe/ Middle East and supplying basis CIF to various African ports via container and break bulk vessel options.

CHEMICALS
Our Chemical trading activities are focused mainly on the supply of raw materials to the liquid/powder detergent industry. We follow the same supply strategy as in steel where we source from South African and International partners to deliver raw materials to our clients either via blue water or overland.

Soda ash light/ dense
Caustic soda flakes/pearls
STPP
Sodium bicarbonate food grade/ Tech grade
Calcium chloride 77% & 94%

PROCUREMENT
We have seen an ever increasing need in Africa for specialized procurement services for various bulk and niche commodities (other than steel/chemicals).
With this demand, we have set up a specialist procurement division namely Azul Procure which focuses exclusively on alternate bulk and/or niche products . This division is solely focused on leveraging current networks as well as growing existing cross industry global networks to source various items at competitive prices.
Typical items for Azul Procure would include Earth moving equipment/transformers and generators/ fiberglass tanks/ gelatin/ bitumen etc...

Due to our volume based trading, we have forged strong logistics partnerships and networks both in Africa and Internationally.
This has resulted in us being able to offer our clients competitive clearing and forwarding services for both shipping and road freight rates. Clients will enjoy competitive door to door logistics rates no matter what the cargo, loading or discharge point, resulting in competitive landed prices of raw materials.
